Ripple is going to court!
Will Ripple win the lawsuit?

A lawsuit filed by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) against digital payments firm Ripple is heading to virtual court on Monday, Feb 22.
The SEC alleging that Ripple “raised over $1.3 billion through an unregistered, ongoing digital asset securities offering”. The SEC considers XRP a security, while Ripple is arguing against this claim by stating that XRP has been always identified as a currency.
In response to the SEC lawsuit, the price of XRP fell by more than 50%, from US$0.55 to US$0.25.
